Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2021 linkup. I thought the prompts for this week looked pretty easy, and I even thought I might get this ready to post before we went away on the weekend, so I could just schedule it. Well, things didn't go entirely as planned. Do they ever go as planned? Not in my world. Anyway, here are some photos from the week:
- scary - This is really scary. It's a selfie, which is scary in itself. And it's a selfie of me dressed up as Cruella DeVille for our church's Trunk or Treat event. She was one of the scarier Disney villains, wasn't she?
- mend - I thought this prompt might be difficult, as I don't have a mending pile at present, and I couldn't think of anything else that needed fixing that I could use as a subject. (Not that we don't have plenty of things that need mending, just nothing that seemed a good photo subject!) Then on Thursday afternoon, I had a scary experience when my brakes failed! Thankfully I was able to come to a safe stop, call a tow truck, and get my car off to my mechanic. This is beyond mending, but clearly the brakes do need to be fixed!
- starts with G - Remember our little Minion with a Low Opinion? I found him - finally (he was in the spice cupboard) - so it was my turn to hide him. I sure hope the kids find him before they happen to see it here. He is hidden in a candy jar - surrounded by gumballs. Which start with G.
- spiral - We attended an airshow yesterday, and although the aerobatic flyers did plenty of spiral flying tricks, this was the photo I had that was the closest to showing that.
- your choice - One more photo from Trunk or Treat. There are more in my monthly Photo Album!
iSpy 2021 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!
