Each week Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook shares a set of prompts for photos. On Saturday she invites participants to share their photos in the I Spy 2021 linkup. I'm a little late again this week. I kept forgetting to take photos during the week and wound up doing most of my picture-taking on the weekend.

- house (fall quarterly pic) - view from the back this time

- brown -

- stitch - we have a few Christmas things out ready to start decorating. This is a detail of the quilted Christmas tree skirt my mom made for me.

- architectural - I thought I could get photos of some of the architectural details of some of the older downtown buildings, but my week really didn't allow me time to walk downtown. Instead I took this photo of my two mugs featuring Frank Lloyd Wright designs. The one on the left is the glass mosaic tile pattern he designed for the fireplace of a house in Buffalo that we toured a couple weeks ago. The one on the right is a stained glass window design called Tree of Life that has been used in many of Wright's buildings, including the one in Buffalo.

- your choice - our cat, Merida, in a queenly pose but also a little annoyed with me for taking photos of her when she wanted to nap.

iSpy 2021 is hosted by Lysha at A Camera and a Cookbook. The idea is to challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and do something different with your photos. Anyone can participate by taking five new photos during the week that fit the prompts. Link up during the week and have fun!
