Meterhero: A practical STEM project
151: Meterhero: A practical STEM project
In this episode, Nate Conroy explains how he came up with the idea for Meterhero and your children can get involved.
Meterhero gets students to monitor their own home’s gas, water, and electricity usage and then use the data to see trends, figure out ways to save money and much more.
It is a very practical STEM project and great for homeschoolers – especially as it is free because it is sponsored by The Vela Education Fund
This video explains it – and be sure to listen to the whole episode
